The practice was initialized by an American surgeon called Jennifer Lee Walden where she started her profession in Manhattan hospital where it was mainly for ear, eye, and throat and was being monitored by Dr. Sherrell Aston. She was named one of the best 24 Harper’s Bazaar beauty surgeon in the year 2014. News from BBC and Fox News describe her as the best expert in plastic surgery. Walden is also the chairperson of Plastic Surgery Practice’s Editorial Board and the current chair of Modern Aesthetics’. Her father was a dentist and her mother a surgical nurse. Dr. Jennifer Walden graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Texas.
After completion of her studies, Walden got a fellowship in aesthetic surgery where she remained in the hospital in response to the conclusion of her fellowship. She worked on Upper East Side of New York City for seven and a half years and during that period she engaged herself in clinical trials which brought about re-establishment of silicone breast implants.
Women empowerment on personal and professional level
Through her career in cosmetic plastic surgery, Walden express her views mostly on women as she said earlier, ‘I have built my practice with an all-female team and my client base is mostly women’. She explains that she does her job with passion and tries to help other women feel that they are the best in the society. She also suggests that it is better to work in Austin since most businesses are owned by women as this gives women motivation to believe in themselves. She also adds that women have the right to own everything they want either personally or professionally and deserve getting a gratifying career and an affectionate family.
