Entrepreneur Keith Mann wants to help aspiring future business leaders go to college.
Keith Mann and his wife, Keely, have announced the Keith and Keely Mann Scholarship for Professional Development, which is open to graduating seniors attending Uncommon Charter High School in Brooklyn, New York.
The scholarship will grant $5,000 to one student to apply toward their tuition. The Scholarship for Professional Development will be awarded to one student each year, helping them achieve their dream of attending a four-year college or university. To qualify, applicants must write a 1,000-word essay detailing how earning a college degree will help them reach their professional goals. The 2016 application process closes Feb. 29 and a winner will be announced at the end of March.
Keith Mann is a known philanthropist. He’s recently made donation to the NYPD. Keith is the CEO of Dynamic Search Partners and has been in the industry for over fifteen years. Keith knows whats he’s doing when it comes to hedge funds, with over fifteen years of experience.
“We want to support the Uncommon Schools’ goal of preparing low-income students to not only attend, but graduate from college and go on to succeed professionally using their degree,” Mann said. Mann is the founder of Dynamic Search Partners, a New York-based firm that sources talent for the hedge fund and private equity industries. As CEO, he manages the day-to-day execution of Dynamic Search Partners. He is a 16-year veteran of the executive search industry and his firm works with clients in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Brooklyn’s Uncommon High School seeks to prepare students to not only graduate, but excel in college and beyond. It is one of the 44 charter public schools managed by Uncommon Schools, a network of schools in Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York serving more than 14,000 students.
