David Osio is the Chief Executive Officer of Davos Financial Group, the parent company of the Davos Real Estate Group and Davos Financial Advisors. The first, provides an integrated prime commercial and residential offering, which has evolved over time to encompass the entire spectrum of realty available in the different and dynamic markets around the world. The latter, is a reliable advisor, with an innovative structure of personalized financial advisory services, which offers the best investment strategies within a secure environment which guards and maximizes its clients’ assets.
The company was formed in 1993 after Osio decided to venture out on his own. Before that he held a position as Vice President of Banking Commercial in the Private Banking Division of Banco Latino International (BLI) in Miami. This followed his work for the law firm MGO, where he dealt with corporations such as Consolidated Bank and Ferro Corporation. Prior to MGO he was an executive at LETCO COMMERCIAL COMPANIES, where he structured marketing programs for industrial products in the United States. This opportunity came by way of OPED Enterprise, where he was President and CEO and responsible for coffee export programs.
His prolific career is supported by a strong academic background and numerous skills. He studied International Banking Law at the Catholic University Andres Bello in Venezuela, and graduated in 1994. In 1990 he part took in a commercial lending seminar at the Chase Manhattan Bank & Frost & Sullivan; in 1996, he received Management Training from the Swiss Bank Corporation; that same year he studied the United States Capital Markets at the Financial Institute of New York. In 1999 he participated in an Advance Management Program at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Administration, IESA. After that he trained in Equity Portfolio Management at the Finance Institute in New York.
Because of his considerable trajectory and entrepreneurial endeavors, as well as his swift and vast contributions to society, David Osio has earned numerous international awards. Among these are: Medal of Honor of the United States Congress, an honor awarded for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty; South Florida Business Leaders in 2009; Movers and Shakers 2009, an award honoring the business leaders of South Florida; “Best Offshore Corporate Service Provider” an award by New Europe, a magazine; and finally, the Miami Award Winner as a consulting firm, in 2014, a program created to publicly recognize the achievements and positive contributions of organizations around Miami.
