Taylor Swift Encourages Her Fans To Go Out And Vote

In the past, Taylor Swift stated that she did not like to talk about politics. However, she talked about politics during the AMA awards. She took home three awards and talked about the importance of voting at the end of her acceptance speech.

She stated that her fans motivate her to do more and work harder. She also stated that people should go out and vote in the mid-term elections. Additionally, Taylor expressed her support for Phil Bredesen, who is a Democratic candidate running for the state Senate in Tennessee.

According to Vote.org, Taylor’s speech has encouraged people to register people to vote. The report showed that 105,000 people have registered to vote since Sunday. Over 64,000 of these people were between the ages of 18 and 29.

Over 153,978 people have registered to vote in October. In September, 190,178 new people registered to vote. Over 5,183 people registered to vote this month in Tennessee.

Taylor Swift has lived in Tennessee for several years. Even though she has remained quiet about politics over the years, she has spoken about about things that she does not agree with. She has expressed her opposition for Blackburn and some of the things that congress has voted for.

She stated that she is appalled by the Senate and House’s voting record. She stated that she does not agree with Blackburn’s views on LGBTQ rights. She has also stated that she does not agree with the Reauthorization of Violence Against Women Act in 2013.

In the past, Taylor stated that she did not discuss politics because she did not want to offend her fans. However, sources say that she has reached the point in her career where she does not care. She has reached the pinnacle of her career and what the naysayers have to say does not matter.

Sources also say that Taylor wants to use her fame for a good cause. Even though Taylor has received praise for speaking about politics, not everyone supports her. President Trump stated that he likes Taylor’s music less after hearing the speech.
