JHSF is a one of the leading real estate developing corporations in Brazil.Established in the year 1972 by brothers Fábio and José Roberto Auriemo in the city of São Paulo as a construction company, the brothers had a vision of one day turning it into the biggest real estate developer in the country and thus brought in two other partners they were to back the growth of the company.
JHSF saw tremendous growth and by the year 2001 they were handling big projects and at the time they were able to bring about the mall revolution to Brazil. This was done through the development of the famous Metrô Santa Cruz mall located in São Paulo it was the very first mall known in Brazil to come integrated with the local subway station. The concept proved to be a hit with the target customers as it offered rare convenience as most customers were able to shop and access their preferred mode of transport reliably.
JHSF embraced a change of leadership at its helm by having the first born son of Fabio, José Auriemo Neto at the age of 27 years take over. This proved to be quite a successful strategy as he came in with new ideas and was able to quickly grow and diversify the company.
José Auriemo quickly took on the high-end luxury market, through his leadership by the year 2006 JHSF had launched the ultra modern high-end Cidade Jardim complex. This is one of the premier shopping destinations in the country as it houses Shopping Cidade Jardim among the only few locations where every big international brand can be found.
In the year 2007, they had a lot going for them as this is the year that JHSF got publicly listed offering its shares on the Novo Mercado of BMF & Bovespa. As a public traded company it was able to access more capital and at the time was able to acquire a controlling stake in the Fasano Group hotels. The company continued to diversify its investments around Brazil by coming up with new developments such as Horto Bela Vista Complex, Fazenda Boa Vista, and Catarina Fashion Outlet among many others.
JHSF has also spread its wings to the international markets as seen by such developments such as 815 building located on 5th Avenue in New York.
