The making of rally driver Michel Terpins.

The 25th edition of the Sertões Rally would prove to be one of the most competitive editions in the rally’s history. Already the number of entrants in the competition was high enough in the various categories. This edition would see the race taken to the Midwest the competitors would drive through the states of Goiás, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. With the expected eventual stage closing on the 26th in Bonito (MS). With 280 participants already confirmed, pilots and navigators from all over the country and abroad will see 161 vehicles race. There are various categories of Cars, i.e., Cross Country and Regularity, UTVs, quadricycles, and motorcycles, who together will cover 3,300.06 kilometers. This will be divided into two with 1,999.52 kilometers of Special terrain.

The 25th edition has been organized to meet the international standards of competition and as such the route has been carefully reviewed and marked to ensure that there are no surprises for the organizers. This was as a result of an incident in the 22nd edition where 202 kilometers were reduced to only 68 after safety concerns arose. The incident has served as a wake-up call, and it was thus paramount that this edition did not encounter such hitches. The Bull Sertões Rally Team was being represented onboard the T-Rex #322 by the dynamic duo of Michel Terpins, 40, and Maykel Justo, 37. The pair was able to complete another critical stage of the 25th edition. The team had registered impressive results from the beginning and after winning two of the three stages of there category the Prototypes T1, they have now taken the lead in the accumulated category. This is an impressive feat by itself but more importantly is the ability to jump into the top 5 fastest team in the competition, attaining 4th overall with a total of 11:45m23s.

The Bull Sertões Rally Team which was founded by Michel terpins and Rodrigo terpins will be fighting to complete the edition at a better position than they did in the 24th edition when driver and navigator Michel Terpins and Maykel Justo first came together.
