The Success of Hussain Sajwani

A successful entrepreneur and billionaire property developer, Hussain Sajwani has been changing the business world for quite some time. Sajwani is the founder of the of real estate development company DAMAC Properties. Sajwani has built an incredible resume and is currently the world’s 4th richest Arab, worth more than four billion dollars.

Hussain Sajwani is a product of humble beginnings. His father was an entrepreneur who owned his own watch shop. Sajwani’s father encouraged him to do well in school as a kid and as a result Sajwani earned a government scholarship to the University of Washington. He would go own to earn a degree in Industrial Engineering and Economics. Soon after college he began a career in finance with Abu Dhabi Gas Industries. After nearly two decades of experience he was ready to start his own company.

In 2002 Sajwani established DAMAC Properties. The company is one of the most successful property development companies in Middle East. DAMAC is responsible for a large number of real estate projects across the Middle East. Nearly 20,000 apartments have been established by the company. They are responsible for some major projects including a golf course designed by Tiger Woods. They have built a number of luxury apartments that include designs by Versace and Bugatti.

Hussain Sajwani has been recognized many times for his work. In 2017 he was recognized as one of Middle East’s Future Stars by the Arabian Business Achievement Awards. That same year he received the honor of being named Property CEO of the Year. In 2018 Sajwani was named a Real Estate Legend at the Arabian Business Real Estate Awards. Currently Sajwani shares his wealth with his wife and four children. He continues to reside in Dubai where he manages his company DAMAC Properties. Sajwani has made a tremendous impact on his country and the surrounding middle eastern countries. He appears destined for continued success for many years to come.
